Title IX

Title IX states, “No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance.” Grace Jt. School District prohibits discrimination based on sex, including discrimination in the form of sexual harassment and discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender identity, against any individual participating in any education program or activity of the district. This prohibition on discrimination applies to students, employees, and applicants for employment. Reports of sex discrimination or sexual harassment should be made to the Title IX Coordinator/Superintendent for the investigation and resolution of such complaints.
