Results from the 2005 district survey indicated the community's desire for course offerings earning university credit as well as advanced placement courses. As a first phase initiative, Grace School District introduces the GOAL program.

University  Academic Courses
    
Qualified juniors and seniors can take a wide variety of university courses on-line
       Students can earn concurrent enrollment credit: earn university credit while in high school AND earn
           earn high school credit toward graduation at the same time.
       Tuition reimbursement is available through the district for a "B" grade or better

Tech Prep Courses Through Idaho State University
    
Tech prep courses allow your student to get a head start on certification in areas such as Health
          Occupation fields (Physical Therapy, Nursing, Medical Transcriptions,etc.), Welding, Electronics,
          and more!
      ISU credit is possible when a student earns a "B" grade or better.
      Tech Prep courses are FREE

Idaho Digital Learning Academy
    
Was set up by the State of Idaho to increase class availability for students
      Offers on-line high school courses not available at  Grace  High School. (e.g. A.P. classes)
      Allows flexiblity for Grace students to take the subjects they want & need during the classe periods that
          will best fit their schedule.
      Registration fees required for IDLA courses

The "GOAL" Program (2005-2006 School Year)
    
Students must qualify for participation (Parent/Student/Administration agreement form)
      Class periods four through seven have been set aside for taking on-line courses
      An adult, in-class facilitator will assist your student on a daily basis to stay on task
      Students taking similar courses may be able to schedule on-line class periods together
      Initial costs to students include tuition rates and/or textbooks (textbook costs are non-reimbursable)
      High School courses that do not earn college credit are not eligible for reimbursement

EXAMPLE:
A senior could take English 101 and American Government on-line receiving 7 university credits for both subjects while fulfilling Grace High School graduation requirements.
