Dear Parents:

Grace junior and senior high schools are great schools because we have wonderful students and supportive families and community members. We are looking for ways to make things even better and we need your help!

For many years, our Grace High Booster Club has supported our athletic programs and a variety of other extra-curricular activities (Drama, Civics, B.P.A., etc.) through fundraising, half-time activities, homecoming, etc. Over the last few years, however, the booster “club” has dwindled down to a “president”. We are desirous to revitalize our “Booster Club” and are looking for parents and community members who have that fired-up Grizzly spirit and are willing to help us out!

We are also incorporating some new activities into our junior high. Our junior high students are wonderful, but they are often overlooked because our junior high building is used both for junior high and high school students. We are looking for parents who would serve on a Parent Involvement Committee (PIC) to help out with just a few special activities during the year. Currently, we are introducing a kindness campaign that promotes respect for our school and each other.

We hope that as some of you read this announcement, you will contact us at the school (425-3731) and offer to become involved in either our high school booster club or our newly-forming junior high parent-involvement committee. When you call the school, just let our school secretary, Mrs. Newbry, know which organization you would like to be involved in and we will contact you when we start to gear up. With this school year coming to an end, most of your commitment for this year would be in planning for next year! Also, just so you know, our goal at Grace Junior/Senior High School is to be the best school in the state of Idaho, which is why we need your help!

As faculty and staff, we are working hard to provide the best education possible for your students and are making innovations on almost a daily basis. We need your help for some of the extra activities that our school sponsors, such as the tremendous community support we received for this year’s 3D Homecoming Celebration.

Thanks for all you do in supporting our schools and we look forward to hearing from you soon!

Sincerely,

Stephen C. Brady
