choose to be the one of the 10%."
Why did I become an educator: I was told that I was good at it when
I was teaching a class for my church. Later, a man I admired
greatly convinced me that even though teachers aren't paid well,
I had a gift for teaching. He motivated me to do my student
teaching and I was offered a job before my student
teaching was finished. I have been in education ever-since and
he was right... teachers pay doesn't break any records

to do it. I really liked helping other students solve

to be a math teacher. |

Favorite Motto or Quote:
“I never said it would be easy, I
only said it would be worth it”
Why did I became an educator:
Because my Dad didn’t want me to
be a Veterinarian and insisted that I get a College
education. To be honest, I wanted to have my summers off so
I could Rodeo and have the same breaks/vacations that my
family (hopefully someday) would have. But, I have always
loved working with kids and those with special needs and
everyone kept telling me how patient, loving and what a good
job I do with them – I truly do LOVE my job!
Hi, I am so excited to be working at the Jr. High and
High School in the Special Education department. For
the last 3 ½ years I have been at Grace Elementary and
this year I was moved. I was a little hesitant at first
but I truly have grown to love these schools, the
faculty, staff and administration. I love my job, the
students and the ladies I work with very closely
everyday, I couldn’t do my job if it weren’t for them!
I was born and raised in Soda Springs, and continue to
live on my family’s ranch North of Soda. Being from
this community all my life, I am so grateful and
thankful. I truly feel that the small/rural schools
have such an advantage and are so closed knit, sometimes
that is good and sometimes that can be bad. We are all
so fortunate to live where we do and to be able to
attend these great schools. Grace is a great place to
work and I am so thankful for this opportunity I have
had to meet and work with new people!
